What is the Missed Call Text Back Solution?
This automation allows for home service business owners to capture missed calls to new number. The new number will need to be A2P 10DLC Verified before it can be used. This automation captures incoming missed phone calls, and sends out a SMS text message to the number calling. The SMS can send a link to your estimate calendar so the lead can book directly from the SMS. You can see the SMS conversation only after the lead has responded to the 1st SMS text message. On our free app (Iphone/Android) you can see all conversations with all your CRM contacts. This solution is a monthly subscription service provided by Digital Brandagement LLC.
How much does the Missed Call Text Back Solution cost?
The 1 Time Set-up fee after June 27, 2024, will be $249.00.
The base price is $299.00, but your total monthly price will very depending on the amount of extra services you add on, how many SMS texts you send, how many emails you send, and if you choose to add additional add-on services. We will have a Zoom meeting prior to purchase to go over your business needs, what you have tried in the past, where your revenue is currently, and where do you see your business in the future. This allows us to customize your solution to maximize your business' profits.
There will be additional usage fees per SMS text sent. This usage fee will vary depending on how many characters are in each text message, how many text messages you send out, and if the texts include emoji, pictures, or special characters. There is a monthly charge per new phone line, and a monthly fee to keep your business verified. Pricing can be found on our website Price page.
The free smart phone app will be available to any employee who downloads it to their phone, and has your business' user name and password. As the account admin, you can set up 2 factor authentication to access your information. The other option we have is to add the owner as the admin, and all employees as users. This allows the admin to limit access to certain information, like locking the users out of invoicing, and making changes to any automations.
This software and Missed Call Text Back Solution, can be accessed anywhere with WIFI, or where cellular data is available. The mobile app only has a few features, where the desktop app log-in has the full suite of tools available. If a user is no longer an employee of the business, I would recommend the Admin delete all access for said user, and change all 2FA, and passwords.
Short answer is no, we cannot use your landline or personal cell phone for the Missed Call Text Back Solution.
We do not want you to re-brand your business marketing, signs, vehicle wraps, or business cards.
We also do not want to separate your loyal customer base from that known number.
We will walk you through purchasing a new local area code* SMS Texting capable phone number.
This new number will be placed inside your website, social media, Google Business Profile (in slot 1 of 2), and any other online locations. The new number has the ability to record phone inbound phone calls, make SMS texts, and it allows our software to read if the call has been answered or if it was a missed call. By having the new number, the software is also able to trigger additional automations and workflows, that a normal landline or personal cell phone cannot do. The new number can be forwarded to your business line, or personal cell phone after it has been verified, allowing inbound calls to be answered by receptionist or personal cell phone.
This new number will need to go through A2P 10DLC verification prior to sending out any SMS messages. There are additional costs with this process not covered under your monthly subscription.
There will also be a needed warm up period, with limited amount of outgoing SMS per day, and new regulations prohibit purchase cold lead list mass SMS campaigns. All outgoing SMS from B2C will need to have opt-in to SMS marketing within the last year to all leads, and have opt-out language in the first SMS.
(*if available, some areas do not have any more local area code numbers available, so we may have to purchase a number from outside your local area. The other option is to purchase a 1-800 number for SMS texting from.)
Yes, we can help your multi-location home service business.
We will give each location its own account - with different user names / passwords. This means that each location will need to go through A2P 10 DLC verification prior to starting SMS texting campaigns or Missed Call Text Back Solution.
Each location will need to pay for the additional fees, (per SMS segment), monthly verification fee, and new number fees.
As for the Missed Call Text Back basic monthly subscription, we may be able to have a slightly reduced subscription per location. Best to reach out and we can walk through it.
A2P 10DLC refers to a system in the United States that allows businesses to send Application-to-Person (A2P) type messaging via standard 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers. Carriers in the US consider all Twilio traffic to be A2P. Carriers’ A2P 10DLC offerings provide better delivery quality and lower filtering risk than long code SMS of the past, using the same phone numbers.
Effective September 1st, 2023, all SMS and MMS messages sent to U.S. phone numbers using +1 10DLC phone numbers must be sent via an approved application-to-person (A2P) campaign. Messages sent to the U.S. using unregistered +1 10DLC numbers will be blocked.
When we go to the onboarding with your business, we will help walk you through getting a new local area coded texting number (if available) and or a toll free 800 number to text from. Then we will set up your website for opt-in compliancy as well. After these two steps have been completed, we will walk you though the A2P 10 DLC registration.
If your application fails, there is a specific reason(s), which is not always clear. We have access to several different step-by-step walk-throughs to help guide you.
There are safeties in place with all cell phone carriers, that will black-list (block) your verified SMS texting number if you go above a % of "junk" or "spam" claims against that number. There is also a warm up process, designed to limit the total number of SMS texts per day and per month a verified number can send. Please do not expect to send out 100's SMS messages on the first few days.
There is now new laws in place to prevent verified numbers from messaging bulk cold lists from scrapers. You have to confirm that the numbers you are SMS texting have opted-in to advertisements via SMS, from your brand / website/ lead capture, in the last year.
Once your number gets black-listed (blocked from the mobile carriers Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile), it is not able to be re-instated. Getting additional numbers will also prove difficult as all carriers will have the black listed company names / EIN.
As of May 2024, we are working with Stripe as a payment processor, so credit cards, and ACH transfers. We do not accept cash and no crypto-currencies.
The monthly subscription starts on the 1st of the month, every month, from the start date listed in our contract with your business. The amount of time is indefinite, until your business cancels the subscription. Think of the Missed Call Text Back Solution like a utility, (cable tv, dumpster /trash, water bill, electric bill, internet bill). By keeping the MCTB Solution running every month, your are capturing all your inbound calls.
If your business has to slow down or needs a pause of subscription, there are not many options. Reach out long before that becomes necessary. If your business cancels the subscription, all work, automations, Missed Call Text Back Solution, and your account will be deleted. IP by Digital Brandagement LLC is not transferable. IP your business brings in, will transfer back out of your account.
